Marian Brown Sewell Woods is shown selling Mary silkscreens. Marian B. Woods is the daughter of Bolton Coit Brown, who established the art department at Stanford, left and founded the artist colony at Woodstock and Zena, NY. MBW was living in Woodstock with her mother Lucy Fletcher in 1940. MBW was born in 1901 in San Franciso, lived in Woodstock, Paris, NYC and finally settled in Atascadero, CA. Died in LA in 1981.
